Central Lima has a wide range of accomodation possibilities, with a lot of the options close to the Plaza Mayor, the former Plaza de Armas. Prices are generally higher than in the rest of Peru, but it goes for other things than accomodation too.

For luxury and great location, the Country Club Lima Hotel and the Crowne Plaza Lima are two hotels that offer the best features and amenities. These hotels have two very different designs and can make any guest feel right at home.   The Country Club Lima Hotel is located near the San Isidro district and their attractions include the famous Plaza Major. The Crowne Plaza is located near Miraflores, and the Cathedral De Lima is one of the most important attractions near this area.   If you are looking for great location at a lower price, then check out the Antigua Miraflores hotel or the Bruce Hotel and Casino. Both of these hotels offer the low end amenities but are located in excellent locations in Lima Peru .   Some of the local attractions include Playa Makaha, the Coasta Verde, Museo Amano, and the wonderful Tarumba Marketplace. Plus there are hundreds of specialty shops and restaurants along the way.
